Cotto punches harder, but Floyds shots are SO accurate that it makes up for it! How often have you seen boxers take punishment and not go down, then being hit by one madly accurate left hook (by a guy with less power) and they end up going down. Corrales had fought stronger guys than Mayweather prior to their fight and never been dropped...how many times did Mayweather drop him again? I lost count! Glen Johnson fought RJJ and KO'd him (even though he was past prime) and he fought Hopkins earlier in his career (definitely not as strong as RJJ) and Hopkins TKO'd Glen Johnson....more accurate shots.....counter hitting can really surprise and knock fighters off balance.
