Who hits harder? Cotto or Floyd? A logical result for Pac vs. Mayweather

Based from previous fights who do you think has more punching power?

This simple question can get a logical answer on Mayweather-Pacman fight.

If Mayweather hits harder than Cotto then I guess it will be tough for Pac.

BUT if Cotto hits harder than Floyd then all Floyd can do is to be on defensive mode. And I don't think he can really hurt Pac.

The fight can end up in a decision.

Who wins? I don't know.

so because Cotto hits harder, means that Pac kills Floyd even easier than Cotto? Get serious. If Floyd was trying to be Margarito then maybe you can draw that conclusion but his game is not based around crushing power so it doesnt matter at all. Let me ask you something. Who has more power? Cotto or JMM? I guess this means that JMM had no chance against Pac also, right?

Neither fighters wasn't tested yet with their unique styles.
But I think Pac's different angle punches can penetrate Mayweathers Defense. (let me start a seaprate thread on this)

Alot of times in boxing power is inconsequential. Cotto may have more power but Floyd's is the more effective puncher. Because floyd has greater handspeed and often the opponent dosent see the punch. The punches that are not seen are the ones that create the most problem. When Cotto hit Pac on the ropes on RD4 he prepared for the blows. Remember Mayorga sticking out his chin? He was able to take those blows since he saw them, but he was knockdown against DLH from a hook he didnt see.

because Floyd will have way more oppurtunites. Also, who says Pac has a much better D and chin? JMM has never been KO and both of there D is average. JMM was extremely cautious against Floyd. He wasnt a sitting duck. The hand speed killed JMM from the jump and turned him cautious. Pac wont be cautious and his sloppy, off balance style will leave alot of openings for the most accurate guy in the game
