A couple of years ago Bob Arum was on the verge of matching Valero and Manny P in Macau. I don't know why it was called off.

And, back then it would of been a great exciting fight. Valero had a very good chance to beat Pac. But, now Pac has evolved he is just a better fighter now. Valero might only have puncher chance now. And, I am being generous cuz Pac is just so much better not. But, back then it would of been a hell of a fight.

Doesn't deserve a fight with Diaz? Now you just hating. Valero KO'd a solid prospect in Mosquera and Destroyed in 2rds Pitula who is very durable and was a top 10 LW. Plus Valero does have a title. So can you please explain why he doesn't deserve a fight with Juan Diaz who is 2-2 in his last 4 fights?

No lol. Trinidad was a better fighter than Cotto. Had more power, was taller had a longer reach, very good jab, very accurate. Tito was a monster at 147. Tito right hand was killer, and he went to the body good as well. IMO Tito KO both Cotto and that version of Oscar that Pac fought. Not taking anything away I am huge fan he is my favorite fighter right now. But, Tito is a different animal than Cotto. you can judge it by that one fight

I know and am not but by a sum of performances.....Cotto I think is a better be it slightly but better boxer than Tito who didn't have a good chin to go with his heart......I am just saying it is not at all out of the question and now and that statement made by that poster doesn't seem so absurd to me anymore.

valero is handled by top rank.

when he signed the contract it stipulated that "he gets a fight with pacquiao if pacquiao doesn't retire."

that's why arum always mentions valero as a possibility.

the contract doesn't say that pacquiao has to fight him though. so if pacquiao retires 3 years from now and valero still hasn't gotten a fight.....too bad.



i think arum soured on valero already. he was dissing him at the post conference.
