Valero "Only I Have The Power To Beat Pacquiao"

Undefeated WBC lightweight champion Edwin Valero (25-0, 25KOs) is pumped for bigger things in 2010. He defends his title against Mexican challenger Hector Velazquez on December 12 at El Nuevo Circo in Caracas, Venezuela. Valero was on point for Thursday's 30-day WBC mandated weigh-in. He was stepped on the scales at a ripped 149-pounds. He can weigh no more than 142 a week before the fight. [details]

Hmmm, no. Even if he did, he doesn't have the experience, the technique, the handspeed, the footwork, or the ring generalship needed.

too bad pac will land his power shot first so in the end, it doesn't matter.

if by talent you mean little boxing skills, and throwing mindless bombs at your opponent while leaving you chin up, then count me in...

dude can throw a punch with power...ill give him that...and thats all ill give him...

Valero is like the LochNess Monster or Bigfoot u here about em but he seems to be more myth than reality an until I see em on my T.V. KO'in top-notch guys then I will believe until then he is more myth than legend.

No way, he needs to prove he's worth it. He should fight Soto, Guerrero, Guzman or Katsidis but he doesn't deserves a fight with the Pacman.
