I never stated that Charles was my top 10 heavywieghts of all-time. As a heavyweight, those fighters you've names have Charles. They were greater heavyweights. But overall, they're nothing compared to Ezzard.

Charles was not only a top 15 heavyweight of all-time, but he's almost unanimously regarded as the greatest lt. heavyweight of all-time. His list of opponents is simply sick: Charlie Burley, Joey Maxim, Jimmy Bivins, Lloyd Marshall, and, of course, a prime Archie Moore 3x (the last one by knockout). Then he moves up to heavyweight and beats some damn good competition as well. When Jones went up to heavyweight, people were already labeling him the greatest of all-time. Big whoop, it was once against Ruiz. Charles also started around 160, yet he fought consistently better opposition on the way up.

Charles is around #10 all-time, on my list.

An argument can be made for Pernell Whitaker, I mean at his prime division he was not only unbeatable, he was unhittable.

Right. But I think he was overrated as hell dude. Extremely. Yes he had a good defense, but he lacked defining wins in the ring. Azumah Nelson and Wilfredo Rivera were the only two decent fighters he beat legitimately. Buddy McGirt was a nobody. JCC was robbed in their fight.

I also think JCC was twice the fighter he ever was. That list seems to think otherwise. I also think he recieved so many gift decisions, it was hurtful to his career. People may see differently, I just could not stand him as a fighter.
