pacquiao would need two years of training to adjust to floyds style, even then he would lose.

There is an easy way to calculate who the bigger star is, in reference to Mayweather and Pac. Pac obviously isn't American so taking that out of the equation, Pac stills carries an entire nation behind him, when you put that in context of how he has captured the public's attention in the last year and a half, featured in USA Today, Newsweek and Time magazine, for a non-american athlete that speaks volumes in terms of his appeal and marketability.

Most people I know who have never even watched boxing or casually tune in on a rare occasion, have all asked me about Pac and how good he is. Either way with all that being said, this fight should be signed with a 50-50 split and without the constraints of any catch weights (per Freddy). I wouldn't blame Mayweather one bit if he turned down the fight based on the catch weight, even though I've read a few comments from posters (fans of his) that he is still capable of making 140 if he really wanted too.

I don't think he can do 140 anymore. If you look at him he put on a lot of muscle that he ain't had before like on the arms... he likes the money and I'm rest of sure if he would have seen a way to make 144 without suffering he would have done that.

If Pacquiao-Cotto does better on PPV than JMM-Floyd like it looks like it's going to do and Floyd demands over a 50-50 split then he is ducking the fight. Pacquiao-Cotto already drew 3 more million dollars at the gate.

I agree, the fight should be contested at 147. The problem is how close to that weight will Mayweather be come fight night. Floyd had issues last time out with the weight. What did he weigh unofficially against Marquez?

I agree with Arum (even though I rather dislike him), that Floyd will duck this fight....if it doesn't happen, I told you so a while ago
