That's the formula for promoting big fights. Gets people talking but in the end, it's too big for it not to happen. There must a RIDICULOUSLY huge amount of money available for both fighter to agree for a 50-50 split, so in the end the fight will happen.

If there's one thing Floyd likes more than his undefeated record, it's the money he'll be making.
Reason he came out of retirement!

**** off Arum, this is just blatant bull**** to make Floyd bad really, he doesn't need help with that Arum. Make the fight 50/50 or 40/40 20 extra to the winner **** all the BS just get it on

And nothing else. This fight is slated to match even beat DLH-Mayweather in terms of PPV numbers, so how do you just throw it away? You don't. Mayweather will face Pacquiao, you can book it.

Why should he fight Ivan Drago when everyone knows he on some growth hormone. No one stands toe to toe with a big welterweight when their coming up from 140. Please that's why he knocked Ricky out with one punch

I hope Arum doesn't overprice Pacquiao, because he is the only stubbling block in this fight. Floyd knows his worth and Manny can only relie on his promoter. Bob is very greedy and will try to overprice against Mayweather because he knows that Floyd is a whole new level of fighter that Manny could never beat.

Manny is at the end of his big ride against Mayweather; and he is only popular for beating old past their prime fighters and weight-drained fighters.
If Manny's team was so confident in him then they should stop asking that fighters come in dehydrated and mummified!!!

Oscar wasn't himself. Cotto should have fought at the 147lb limit so his body was adjusted. Hatton was a human punching bag. Diaz was a novice. Marquez gave Pacquiao 2 fights worth of hell and he didn't come in with low confidence and weight-drained.

I am not trying to discredit Manny's victories, but I come from the old school of thought which is to implie that in order to truly be the best, you have to beat another man at his best; and not some agreed upon draining, catchweighting BS. I am not convinced about Manny but should he fight Floyd at 147lbs or Mosley at 147lbs and beat them, then I would be on his side. But for now Mayweather is still the man to beat!!!!

Again I think Roach is using the 145 lbs and 60/40 as a negotiation tactics.

If Floyd says... "F that... I want 60/40 at 147"
Roach will say "55/45 for Pacquiao at 145"
                  Floyd... "I want 55/45 at 147"
Roach... "50/50 for Pacquiao at 145"
Floyd... "I'll go for 50/50 but at 147"
Roach... "Ok 45/55 in your favor and we fight at 145"
Floyd... "Not F that...45/55 for Pacquiao and we fight at 147!"
                  Roach... "Deal!"
                  Floyd... "Wait?!?!?"

I think it will eventually be at 147 as it should be.

my bet is that it blows Hoya Mayweather fight out of the water. It will break all records.... Mayweather's not as dumb as everyone likes to think. Just because you "play" or act out (if I may) doesn't mean your an idiot. On the contrary he has earned more money by being the bad guy.

He will do what he always does and talk down the guy in the opposite corner to cause drama that sells seats/PPV's. At the end of the day this fight WILL happen.......

Even if PBF managed to outpoint Pac, it still wouldnt be as impressive as the run Pac has strung together. Legacy wise PBF has left it too late.

Pac would still be above PBF even if he lost to PBF. PBF knowing this fact might be a reason he wont be able to motivate himself to take punches from pac.
