its still a huge success and the biggest mistake would be to cancel the tourney.

I wouldn't say huge success. While the tournament might go on in name alone to the end, I think the original premise and intent died a long time ago.

At least we got AA vs Froch on the way it will be entertaining.

That's the only saving grace I see. It's more about enjoying the individual matchups now rather than the tournament aspect. The whole point system went straight to hell as soon as the replacements started coming in that nobody really cared about them anymore.
