If he wasn't for his calves being able to generate power from odd angles --he would've lost. And his chin is pretty good too since moving up in weight.

    Shawn Porter:
mannys punch is different. people got to understand that manny throws punches wiht power from angles and balances that other people can only tap you from. you don't expect it to be so powerful so you are not in a position to absorb it correctly. he does hit hard no doubt but it is a combination of not being positioned properly to take that punch.

    Shane Mosely
I mean, thats just genetics. He carries his weight in his legs, which is beneficial to him to be able to generate all that power off that back leg. The way he throws them punches, it's harder than what it seems. It looks like he's just throwing a lot of shots, but he uses his legs very well to push off the ground and get the proper leverage on the shots.

You cant just say its because of his calves, gtfoh. He got skills too and that, in the end, plus his great balance is what did it for him...

Genetics. Most up an coming filipino fighters have big calves just like PAC... Concepcion, Amonsot, and Bautista are a few examples.

Pacquiao’s nutritionist Teri Tom mentioned Pac's unique genetics. he's simply a freak of nature.
