I said this before, but Pacquiao's legs have always been huge for his size. A lot of Filipino fighters have large calves.
If it wasn't for Pacquiao's legs--he would've lost to Cotto

Clottey has some large caffs too son. I've seen him training at John's gym and he I heard stories that he runs from his house to the gym everyday and then starts training right away, that's why he's in such great shape.
I think running and playing soccer will improve your calf size too, it's not only geneticsComment

Calves = 'Slow twitch' muscle fibers. Therefore, it is unlikely that big calves alone will add any significant punching power.
However, if you train your hamstrings, quads and Glute's correctly (e.g. for power / explosive strength), then this can increase punching power, considerably.
Strong calves, will then provide a solid foundation from which to generate power from the hamstrings, quads and Glute's.Comment
