Maybe but am not close to even know whats goes on behind the scene, I just hope the fight goes ahead, Arum is quite a difficult person to deal with but even he has come out and say he would do whatever to make this fight so i believe him.Comment

Biggest money fight out there 100% even though it won't be as exciting for the general public as Cotto VS Pac. Great for boxing fans and espcially purists.
Greenburg just wants to see the $$$Comment

HBO: The Best
Greenberg has commanded the HBO ship very well throughout the years. So much so, that nobody even comes close to touching the caliber of fights and promotions the network provides. Truly in a class of it's own.
It's a solid confirmation that all the 'other' boxers around the world, vying for their moment in the spotlight will have to take a back seat to the biggest fight at the moment.
No doubt it'll be a giant spectacle.
The 24/7 series may just turn out to be the best of them all.Comment

I think that HBO has more influence with Floyd for several reasons:
1) Floyd is a career-long HBO fighter and they have done right by him. They can play the "loyalty" card.
2) HBO was paying Floyd $4 million to fight guys like Corley and Bruseles. That was an investment in the future. Time to cash in.
3) While Floyd is not a GBP fighter, he uses GBP as a sub-contractor. Given that HBO can muscle RS/GBP, Richard can go talk to Floyd
4) Al Haymon does not want to mess up his HBO relationship, and he can also exert pressure on Floyd. AH needs dates for Berto, Williams, Dawson.
5) Arum has a very poor relationship with Greenburg. They only recently had a rapprochement. Arum has shown that he can and will either do a fight as a Top Rank PPV, or move his fighters to SHO. Even if it hurts Bob's pocket.
Am I looking at it the right way?Comment

As far as the split, why hassle? Just do what [Muhammad] Ali and [Joe] Frazier did in 1971 -- split it in half. I'll go on record. What's a percentage point here or there to satisfy somebody's ego?"
