I dont think it is because the split will be decided on previous generated revenue , they are not just throwing numbers to ask for , they dont just blindly state Im worth X amount they got to justify it inside the negotiation with hard evidence ,,, both fighters want it that is the best news you could hope for because its very easy to derail if one doesnt want the fight ,,,, its a good thing Manny and Cotto did great numbers so that will even the spit up , if that fight had bombed Floyd would have too much leverage but now it will be more of a level playing field .

I don't know Floyd walked away out of a Oscar rematch cuz he felt he was not getting enough piece of the pie.

Pac threaten to walk away out of fights with Oscar and Hatton if he didn't get even a bigger share than what he originally agreed with.

If Cotto-Pac bombs or is a huge success it wont matter cuz both fighters have huge ego's. The money split and then the PPV split, you can't forget about that, is still the biggest hurdle.
