And also, I'll give the edge to PAC over Jones Jr., here's why. It's the way he destroyed those ATG's. It's the way he tore through divisions, overcoming huge odds.

Jones, having beaten B-Hop and Toney. I wasn't impressed in the manner he won those fights. At his highest weight, Jones took on the easiest fight against Ruiz. Jones Jr has also proven that he was never the same after the Tarver KO. Whereas, PAC has come back stronger in his ko losses, and again is on a recent tear ever since he lost, his only lost in US soil.
First of all Pacquiao was 16 when he was knocked out and Roy Jones was 35.

Second of all, in Pacquiaos prime he has lost, been out boxed, had split decisions and draws.

Pacquiao is on a tear RECENTLY. Just last March... LAST MARCH, he went life and death with Marquez.

It has to be said that Roy dominated his fights but never an entire division

1 year of Manny does not make him more dominant than all the years Roy dominated and embarrased his opponents

As for Calzaghe, Joe barely cracked the top 10 while was Roy was in the SMW division.
I'm glad you pointed that out. There seems to be an extreme double standard when it comes to why that fight never materialized.

calzaghe was never a possible opponent that anyone talked about for jones while jones was in his prime

and calzaghe calling out jones was like any other unheard of fighter calling out jones

Ruiz was no bum. He had wins over Hasim Rashman, Fres Oquendo,Evander Holyfield(although past his prime) And Kirk johnson. All of those fighters were top ten. Even at this late stage in his career he gave Ruslan Chagaev all he could handle losing a split decision. Ruiz has a very difficult style and Jones made it look easy. I'm no fan of Ruiz but calling him a "bum" is not fair or accurate and Jones deserves full credit for beating him with the size disadvantage and difficult style to deal with.
