Roy jones jr. Those who did see him in his prime might not understand. He was as close to unbeatable as any fighter I have ever seen. His blend of speed and power was incredible. And he threw every punch in the book. As far as Tyson, he did not look as dominant when facing big, tall, opponents such as Tony Tucker and James "bonecrusher" Smith. He won convincingly but not in the manner of Jones. Pac has had to many close calls and losses to be put in this catagory. He's on a tear but he didn't dominate Juan Manuel Marquez and he lost to Erik Morales.
Who was the most dominant fighter in their prime: Tyson, Jones or Pacquiao ?

Darius is AT MUCH fault for not making the fight as Roy Jones... Roy didn't want to go over seas to fight and Darius didn't either. Roy held 7 titles in the LHW division at the same time.
As for Calzaghe, Joe barely cracked the top 10 while was Roy was in the SMW division.Comment

Ruiz isn't a great HW. But he is a solid heavyweight who has wins over Mccline, Golota, Oquendo, Rahman and Holyfield. And he knocked Holyfield down.
It's about the risk, not how great Ruiz's resume is, but the fact that Roy came from MW, his previous fight at LHW, 175 pounds... PUT ON 20 pounds and was still out weighed by 30lbs. All Ruiz had to do is land one flush right hand on his chin and it was over. If he could knock Holyfield down he would knock Roy Jones the **** out.
But he didn't he got shut out. A 5'11" LHW vs a 6' 2" 230lb heavyweight.. is a god damn risk.
come on man, even the casual fans knew ruiz was a bum... rjj was a heavy favorite againts ruiz if im not mistakenComment

I find it funny that some of y'all have Iron Mike ahead of PAC. Outside of having an undefeated record of KO'ing bums, being the youngest HW champ ever.
The quality of PAC's wins clearly destroys Tyson's destruction of bums. I mean, Peter McNeeley, wtf. I'll take Rustico Torrecampo over McNeeley any day of the week.
And also, I'll give the edge to PAC over Jones Jr., here's why. It's the way he destroyed those ATG's. It's the way he tore through divisions, overcoming huge odds.
Jones, having beaten B-Hop and Toney. I wasn't impressed in the manner he won those fights. At his highest weight, Jones took on the easiest fight against Ruiz. Jones Jr has also proven that he was never the same after the Tarver KO. Whereas, PAC has come back stronger in his ko losses, and again is on a recent tear ever since he lost, his only lost in US soil.Comment

And you can't duck someone when you have 7 titles in the LHW division, and he refuses to come over to the US and fight as much as you refuse to go over there.Comment
