Why the hell are people saying Haye would KO Hopkins? His power at Heavyweight is nonexistent.

Hopkins is getting crazier, and crazier with his advancing age. Still ; I don't see Haye as anything special ; how many times has he been dropped in his career?

The added weight could give Bernard some power to work with, and technically speaking ; his skill level is leaps and bounds more advanced than the skillset of the younger Haye.

    WAR 'Nard!!!!

i dunno man, haye has HW power and lt HW speed. the only thing is Haye's chin is suspect but i dunno if hopkins has the power to crack it.

it would be a major accomplishment if he pulled it off.

So Hopkins, like Jones Jr, want to pick and choose which title they fight for at HW. Of course this is the thing in boxing but why not fight the best?

        Fight Vitali or Wlad.

I'm sick of more than one belt and not fighting the best in the division.

Plus, Haye has dates set for the Klitschkos. He's talked enough...time to fight.

At this point ; I'm all for any risk Bernard wants to take, man.

He's almost 45 fuckin' years old, he doesn't have much time left. If he wins, it would be huge. If he loses? So what, the man is older than dirt for Christ's sake.

My only wish if this fight does materialize, is that Hopkins go back to his roots.

He seems to have mellowed out quite a bit from the hilariously confrontational guy he was in his prime.

Could you imagine a press conference between these two if Hopkins wanted to take it to the trenches? It would be on par with the trash talk if Ricardo mayorga ended up fighting Ricardo Mayorga.

So the 45 year old man wants to challenge himself yet again by moving up in weight and attempting to become Heavyweight Champion, and you have a problem with it because he's not fighting one of the commie brothers?

The Klitschko's would murder him ; they murder men twice his size on a bi-monthly basis.

When did Haye beat up Valuev?

He averaged 12 punches thrown per round. Thrown, not landed. And that's against a guy in Valuev who doesn't even have punching power and got beat by the corpse of Evander Holyfield almost a year ago.

Haye's performance against Valuev was pathetic.

Vitali or Wlad might accidently kill Hopkins, don't hate on Hopkins wanting to fight Haye. Its definitely an impressive feet if he beats Haye. I give him a 0 percent chance against either klitschkos. And give him like 40 percent against Haye.

I think Haye murders Ruiz and stops Hopkins, but if somehow Ruiz beats Haye by DQ or something... Hopkins will beat Ruiz to become to become a heavy title holder.

I also just realized that that would make phaggot Ruiz 0-3 against blown up middleweights.

Bernard Hopkins Wants David Haye After Roy Jones

It wasn't that long ago that Bernard Hopkins was considering a move to heavyweight for a bout with then WBC champion Oleg Maskaev. The fight never took place. He still wants a shot at some heavyweight gold. If on December 2 Hopkins beats Enrique Ornelas and Roy Jones Jr. beats IBO cruiserweight champion Danny Green - Jones and Hopkins will clash on March 13 in Las Vegas [the tentative date for Manny Pacquiao's return].
