That raises some interesting questions, is Cotto the best body puncher he has faced, and if not, who is? and, when has Pac really been hurt by a body shot?

Marquez was able to work the body with far more regularity than Cotto.

i use to think chavez by easy ko or tko at 140

now it's a pick 'em fight.

either pacquiao by tko with cuts (he's not dropping chavez) or maybe chavez by tko if he can wear pacquiao down.

I hear ya, If Rosario couldn't put a dent in Chavez, I don't know if Manny can. But them punches Manny throws come from all over the place. And Manny does hit damn hard. I don't know, I can't pick a winner.

i think he can stun chavez , maybe even flash knockdown if chavez is off balance or with a shot chavez doesn't see.

i don't think he can seriously hurt chavez to the point of ko though.

chavez will get cut before he gets koed.

pac is so hard to judge.

a year ago , i'd pick jose luis castillo over him at 135.......now we're talking about chavez at 140-147.

Marquez worked his body real well and I think slowed Pacquiao down a little with body shots, I've always said that Cotto's body attack can be neutralized because he pretty much has 1 way of going to the body and if that way doesn't work, he doesn't know how to get back to the body. JCC was a better body puncher than either Marquez and Cotto, if Pacquiao lets JCC do what he let Cotto do, which was to let Cotto hit him in the body, it might lead to him getting worn down as the fight goes on. Unlike Cotto, JCC doesn't back up, he would be on Pacquiao for every minute of every round.

possible but they didn't have manny's pop though.

manny's punches are so fast even though he's putting his whole body into it.

most guys with fast hands flurry with arm punches.

last year i'd agree with you.

i can maybe try to disregard the oscar fight and the hatton fight but so hard to disregard how he took cotto's punches (even though cotto is not a real power puncher he's still a strong puncher)
