body shots is what got pac knocked out in his early days, chavez is a good body puncher...i'd say at 140 he stops pac.

    but p4p? Pac kills him.

WTF now that there is no current mexican boxer or (latino) left that can beat Manny Pacquiao, his haters are bringing Chavez Sr. LOL ...NO, A PRIME CHAVEZ would have loss to MANNY by KO.

All of Chavez strengths will only lead him to a bad beatdown from Pac.

        He's a lot slower

        Left-hand dominant

        Best punch is left hook

        Basically a brawler.

The fight would be similar to Pac vs Hatton. Only it will last longer coz Chavez has a chin.

K.O? Chavez had one of the greatest chins I've seen. Think Pacquiao could outbox him and win a U.D. Hard to imagine how it could play out though.

But, in terms of similarities, I think it ends there between Cotto and Chavez Sr. both Cotto and Chavez are ****ers as well, but Chavez did it at a much higher level.

Y'all have to remember, eventhough Chavez had shown numerous times to have problems with quick moving fighters and southpaws, he ended getting the W against all of 'em during his prime, although, I do think Sweet Pea was jobbed in his fight against El Campeon.

I mean, Chavez has fought three of some of the fastest fighters in history, Taylor, Camacho Sr., Whitaker. I ain't including DLH 'cause he was already on the downslide then.

I think PAC gives alot of other great fighters from the past problems no matter what.

One thing Chavez ain't seen is the combination that PAC brings, PAC can slug it out and jump in from long range real fast and has the ko power. Whereas, the Camacho's, Taylor's and Whitaker weren't really ko artists and were really more like boxer punchers.
First thing you have ever typed that made some sense.

I don't know if Chavez could beat Pac but I agree, the comparisons from Cotto to Chavez are ******. Chavez was 100X the fighter Cotto is.

I can see you never watched Chavez much.

              Biggest myths of Chavez:

#1 - "His best and only punchis the left hook" ******ity at it's finest, Chavez had an amazing right hand that punished people.

#2 - "He's basically a brawler" Another classic dumbass comment. Frankie Randal a technician in the ring said after wards that Chavez' defense, counterpunching and boxing skills were the best he had ever faced.

Comparing Chavez to Hatton shows your probably 17-20 years old and still jerk off through your underwear while your mother is in the next room.

Is that the reason why 80 percent of his wins are against taxi cab drivers?

                    Resume wise... its no contest.

                    Style-wise its a bad beatdown.

                    Really... its that simple.
