floyd will fight and beat up this prospect firstSome very bold words from 19-year-old welterweight prospect "El Canelo" Saul Alvarez (29-0, 22KOs) of Mexico. Alvarez believes that in four or five fights, he will be ready to fight and beat Manny Pacquiao. During a recent interview, WBC president Jose Sulaiman told Mexican reporters that he believes Alvarez will be ready to fight Pacquiao in a year. There is no question that Alvarez is a talented prospect but he won't be nowhere near ready in four or five fights for boxer on the level of Pacquiao. [details]Comment

Do your research man. When he fought barrera he is already a two time world chamption. He demolished champion from thailand in a flyweight division of WBC and thereafter go up in weight and demolished in six rounds the regarded best bantamweight, the then IBF chamption ledwaba before the boxing crowd in US despite of only two weeks notice. In US again, he fought agapito sanchez for the unification of the bantamweight belt, IBF and WBA, it resulted however to a draw. Then, he demolished Julio in two rounds in an undercard of Tyson and lewis bout retaining the bantamweight belt. After that, he fought Lucero in US again and knocked him out in 3 rounds. With those fights, he already become sensational to boxing public and reporters as a fighter worthy to compete in the featherweight division against morales, barrera etc. Barrera has nothing to do except to fight him because he can no longer run away from pacquiao. Now, can you still say that he is never heard when he fought Barrera? Do your research before you post like this because you look like an idiot-suited for your name as kamote.
I understand everybody deserved a break but to those who's break is due. Right now, Alvarez don't deserved yet a break to fight pacquiao.Last edited by arnold_jasper; 11-19-2009, 11:56 AM.Comment
