I think Floyd fans are just defending their fighter, especially lately with Floyd getting so much attention for carefully picking opponents through his career and avoiding others.

But overall Floyd's fans are not bad posters, sure they defend their man, but there are good and bad posters in every group of fans.

My friend, thank you for explaining it. And with all due respect, I just don't think I can muster the effort to do such a thing. I am as against racism as I possibly can be, to the point where it has made my anger tangible, but I'm wise enough to know giving someone bad karma on a messageboard changes nothing. Those people will have to change themselves- and they're already ignorant.

This is a messageboard for people who love the sport of boxing. For some people, like myself, it's the only sport we like. It brings everyone down when people need to be so negative and childish. I called someone out who was insulting in an earlier thread- not to be a tough guy- but to prove a point about how silly it is to call people names on a thread about boxers we will never spend personal time with- noone is going to do it in person, to your face. Why? Because it's ridiculous. A waste of time.

You can't change people. People have to want to change themselves.

In the meantime, theres lots of great champions we can like. Different styles, different careers. Boxing doesn't have an off-season. We can all win. The same is true with these debates. I respect alot of posters who aren't keen on Floyd. Should I put them down because they don't see what I think is obvious? No- people are entitled to their own opinions.

Agreed. It's ******. I would be happy if they got rid of the rep system completely. What makes it worse is this:

Some time ago, there was a way to give out unlimited K. I think some can even still do this. They made multiple accounts and hit their main account with green K, then logged back in with the main account and hit their spare account with green until it reached a high level of rep power. Now these guys have 21,000+ rep on multiple accounts.

That means you can have built up a good rep yourself but be instantly turned red by a 21K guy, just for something insignificant. Many of them use it wisely, but some think it's cool to throw their "power" around. One person in particular (no names mentioned) is really annoying as hell with this, and I've seen him do it for absolutely no reason to quite a few people. Someone I respect on here also did it to me once.

Since they changed the system, all newer members who weren't around when the old system was in place have low rep. Now you have newer members begging to be repped up by the 21K guys, and it's completely out of balance. This is why there are Green K threads where everyone goes begging to be hit with green by each other, and basically they will never have high rep because it takes years and years to make it rise significantly.

The best thing would be to remove it completely so we're all equal, but step up the moderation to get rid of the idiots and trolls.

I usually give Red K to those people who say something about racism such as midgets and etc. What's the point of calling someone a midgets or what other term you may use.

Guys we've got lots of Pacman fans whom are red because we gave them red k.

Thee are definitely more ******s than good ones, there's absolutely no denying it. They are especially pissed at the moment because of Pacquiao's victory over Cotto. They feel insulted and threatened that their man isn't considered top dog right now.
