It says more about them then it does about you. Even if I knew how to do it, I wouldn't give anyone 'Red K'. I thought it was a reference to Superman when I first saw it. People can say what they want. Someone who gives you the dreaded "red K" because you disagree with them- thats kind of what a ***** does, in my opinion. We get to disagree- people take it for granted.

Only thing is bro, you can't give out green or red K when you're in the red yourself, it actually does nothing but give gray karma, which is neutral.

I agree, it is a ***** thing to do, unless it's for good reason, such as racism, insulting someone's religion, trolling and posting stuff just to get a reaction, spamming the board with crap, etc.

I'm 100% sure that it's because they're black. The racist red k messages I use to get when I first started here have convinced me of that, the change in heart towards me right after posters saw what i looked like further confirmed this.

Look i'm no Al Sharpton here, or the second coming of Martin Luther King Jr trying to stop racism or anything I really don't care about racism but I know it when i see it and I'm just saying the truth, the percentage of posters that have red bars, are black, they don't have to be Floyd fans.

Actually, let me tell you what I've noticed with posting:

I've posted comments positive and negative about these specific fighters: Floyd Mayweather Jr; Manny Pacquaio; Klitschkos.

And guess which fighters I will get ripped on if I post something negative and will be called a hater and so on?

Manny Pacquiao and the Klitschkos.

Anything positive I say about the Pac, Wlad, and Vitali...goes unnoticed when I say something that is deemed negative towards them.

Now with Floyd...when I rip his career at 147+ and say he should have fought more and should have fought better competition and that he can sometimes be a whinny ***** and his throwing money around is classless to his fans etc....I can't recall getting any private messages, or many (if any) seriously negative post-replies back after...or Red Karma from even the most delusional Floyd-huggers.

But to me...what is Karma anyway on Boxing boards?

Who cares. Just keep posting whatever you think.


The people that start to throw out the crazy replies of you're a hater and give you Red K aren't usually the good posters anyway.
The good posters you can actually have a conversation with while showing respect for another's views while trying to understand why one poster would feel/think such a way. It's those posters that have actually given me a new perspective of a fighter.

My friend, thank you for explaining it. And with all due respect, I just don't think I can muster the effort to do such a thing. I am as against racism as I possibly can be, to the point where it has made my anger tangible, but I'm wise enough to know giving someone bad karma on a messageboard changes nothing. Those people will have to change themselves- and they're already ignorant.

This is a messageboard for people who love the sport of boxing. For some people, like myself, it's the only sport we like. It brings everyone down when people need to be so negative and childish. I called someone out who was insulting in an earlier thread- not to be a tough guy- but to prove a point about how silly it is to call people names on a thread about boxers we will never spend personal time with- noone is going to do it in person, to your face. Why? Because it's ridiculous. A waste of time.

You can't change people. People have to want to change themselves.

In the meantime, theres lots of great champions we can like. Different styles, different careers. Boxing doesn't have an off-season. We can all win. The same is true with these debates. I respect alot of posters who aren't keen on Floyd. Should I put them down because they don't see what I think is obvious? No- people are entitled to their own opinions.
