What the crap is going on, this fight better be on. I was looking forward to Saturday night because of this fight. To me it sounds like they want to push the fight back because of the Cotto/Pac fight. I mean to me, it sounds like excuses happening because Showtime knows ppl are paying more attention to Cotto/Pac what happened last Saturday more then the upcoming Super Tournament on Showtime with Kessler/Ward.

The deck is stacked against Kessler.

I was looking forward to seeing it, but it's better for Kessler to pull out now than to be robbed.

Is it so hard to fly in a referee and judge from Mexico and another judge from Canada ?

This is trash. Kessler deserves better than that. What are they trying to do? Give Ward every advantage he can get? I hope Ward doesn't turn the fight into a stinker. He may know that two of the judges are from his hometown and try to box to a decision and make the fight boring.

The problem is, Ward and his promoter want the local California officials.

Calm down people...chances are a new ref and/or judge will be appointed. People are so quick to call something a fix. The appointment of so many CA based officials is more likely due to incompetence and just general spendthrift promotion than an attempt to deny Kessler. But Team Ward wants the WBA title so the situation is very likely to be changed to Team Kessler's satisfaction.

But leave it to posters on this board to scream bloody murder everytime a commission gets lazy and cheap. It's good that Team Kessler called them on it, but you people are so hyperbolic.

Ward is at least good enough to survive 12 rounds and get a robbery decision on the cards, if he fights in a negative way.
