I was thinking exactly that. If Ward's mindset is going the distance and not getting hit with anything too big he can pull that off. Goossen has a lot of pull in California.

Maybe Ward legitimately beats Kessler. I don't think enough attention has been focused on that.

If he really believed he could legitimately beat Kessler, he wouldn't have needed the two local judges and his home referee.

His promoter must think he can't defeat Kessler fairly.

I am already picking Ward with the upset with a legit decision win. I know one thing for sure, I don't think Ward can get a KO win against Kessler. Also, I don't even know if Kessler can get a KO win against Ward either. I don't consider either guy a power-puncher even though they stopped their last opponents. Neither guy would be getting hit by the ****** punches that their last opponents got hit by.

I don't know what he believes but I'm just saying I'm going to wait until after the fight to see what actually happens. I'm pretty sure they won't use two local judges.

Am I the only one thinking that neither can KO each other really? I know this is boxing and anything can happen, but I think both will be really really defensive in this fight. If their is a KO maybe really late similar to Pacquiao/Cotto but not as one-sided probably.

Ward is capable of getting a legit win against Kessler.

I don't know why these judges or ref were picked.

Maybe because promoters don't have faith in their fighters, I mean a loss is serious in boxing and you lose money overall because of it. This is a tough ass sport. I wish boxing was a little more forgiving sport, but its not really. You have to work your ass back to the top again, after a loss.
