Pacquiao is far too high. ~25 would be better IMO.

Hopkins is also far too high and why Mayweather is above Monzon and McCallum beats me. Both were technically excellent and have better resumes.

The Top 4 is the same as me. But everything else is pretty different and the order. Pac is not higher than Willie Pepp, Gans, Greb etc. I do have Pac at top 25.

Rating the pre 20th century and even bare knuckle fighters is difficult. But how can Tucan Mcginty make it and guys like John Sullivan, NonPareil Dempsey, Kid Mccoy, Professor Donavan, Jack Macudliffe, Jack Choynski not make it? There is alot of more info on some of those late 1800's fighters and bare knuckle guys than Tucan.

Even though Joffre lost to Harada his slot at #83 is too low.

I would say about half of the guys in your list make my top 100 and some others make it between 101-200.

Pacquiao is not a top 10 fighter, let alone top 5. It's kind of ridiculous to rank him ahead of fighters who fought and beat the better competition.

I have Ottke more like top 200. The problem is that Boxing since the Modern Rules goes back like 120 years and there are now 17 weight classes. Ottke is one of the best SMW but never fought guys like Calzaghe, Nunn, Jones JR, Hopkins etc. He did beat glenn johnson, Reid, Mitchell- but not even one win against a Hall of Famer. So it puts an asterik on his undefeated record and he only fought in one weight class.

The list dosent include old school fighters like Louis Kaplan who had wins against Billy Petroele, Pancho Villa, and Battling Battalino. I did wish Ottke did fight more.

You could say pacquiao is top 20 or top 25, but top 10 is just wrong, let alone top 5. Saying that he enters top ten if he beats Mayweather.

and id put mayweather on that list if he fights opponents that could potentially

beat him just like pac has been doing ever since. facing risky situations.
