  • Steroids can increase the strength of your chin? Help Please.

I'm admittedly not well versed in the world of steroids but I never heard anything like this before. If you can't put muscles on your chin then how the hell can steroids SIGNIFICANTLY help your chin? I like Paulie Malignaggi a lot but IMO his statements insinuating Pac's ability to take punches is the result of steroids is nothing more than jealousy & disbelief. At most, you can add a little strength to your neck which can help absorb a punch better but it would not be a dramatic difference. If Juicing can help your chin, someone needs to get Amir Khan to the dirty GNC pronto.

    The Paulie Malignaggi Quote:
"Full blown welterweights don't take those type of punches from Miguel Cotto the way he(Pacquiao) took them with total disregard for his power.----There is something up with this guy but that's as far as I am going to go into it."

I have been told that the reason weight draining hurts punch resistance is because the brain flops around a bit more inside the skull due to less water being present. Steroids do a lot of things. I think one side effect is water retention.

I have no scientific background to back this up, I just remember what I have been told by different people.

Of course. They make you impervious to pain.

They increase your testosterone levels and adrenaline levels. Imagine trying to k.o the incredible hulk.

            That ****s impossible.

Well this would also support Pacquiao having a better chin at higher weights because when he sucks himself down to lightweight he'd have more brain flopping. Brain flopping sounds silly but he's doing a lot less draining when he comes in closer to 147. Regardless, of any minute increases or decreases in chin, they certainly aren't enough to compensate if you can't take a big punch. Although there is ZERO evidence, I think Pac-haters would be much better served to attack the angle that Pacquiao is carrying his power up too well.

no, but they will effect your pain tolerance.

you will be able to with stand more pain than you naturally could.

while increasing your strength, power and speed

It's simple ; instead of putting the needle in your ass, you put it in your chin.

                    Instant shock absorber.
