I doubt Pacquiao is on anything illegal. He's on top of his career and arguably a beloved personality around the world. He's probably got everything he could possibly want, including a multitude of mistresses. Why would he risk all of these and for what?

That was the exact quote I remembered.

Look, I don't understand how Pac brought that much power and speed that far North. It boggles my mind. That being said unless I see some proof otherwise I am not going to accuse him of anything other than amazing training.

With all that being said can we please stop the weight draining crap and fight the weight classes now? Fighting JMM at 145 is not necessary and 140 is only reasonable. Fighting Floyd at 145 is silly after the Cotto performance.

anyway, he said if pacquiao beats cotto, he should be considered as one of the best fighters to ever lived. Now hes gonna accuse the guy of steroids? give the man the credit he deserves.
I agree, that is pretty messed up. Just because he wins, he has to suspect something?

Well.....LMAO! Another classic interview from Paulie. Whne he goes off, you get classic interviews! He will whoop Diaz again, i have no doubt.

BUT, on the Pacquiao situation, i got to say, im not going to accuse Pacquiao. If someone proves his on something then fine...but until that day - IF it ever happens, i wont accuse him. Im just going to give him all the credit in the world for being a workgorse and just simply being great and its a privilege (though i was hoping for Cotto to win) to see this man fight. I was amazed at how he took Cottos punch liek it was nothing, he was rocked a bit in the 5th and outside of that he took them, no steroids will do that for you, nothing can! as far as i know. I reckon his on a **** load of supplements though lol.

I won't even go that far, but malignaggi is the 4th boxing person i've heard make mention of it.

                Kinda weird.

like the old adage states, “where there smoke there is fire.”

as a fellow cagueno via chicago, it hurt like hell to watch cotto get smoked but i hope that pacman whooped his ass fair and square.

I felt privileged to see a fighter of his caliber, and if these allegations become truth, i am certain that many of us will be very disappointed in his decision. As boxing aficiandos, we are a select but proud few deserving of the best.

They think that only fighters in the past could have done this, they didn't know that they're watching in their very own eyes the legend and the GOAT of this sport. If they think manny is impossible to be a GOAT why is it that they can't believe what they have seen last sat. fight? It means that fighters in the past that are greater than manny could have done the same.

Take a boxer for example that is young and compare him with his old self: Now who is more likely to train harder and take a punch better?
The young, trained fighter that is willing to die in there in order to win or the old man that is not training as hard and doesn't really want to be in there?
Same reason why we have fighters that had incredible "heart" at one point end up losing it in the end.

Belief that you are going to win or as Tyson said: I refuse to be hurt...I refuse to lose. Remember Atlas pointed to these words and compared it to what Tyson started to say a bit later (after he left Rooney). Tyson was accepting defeat and was now preparing to lose. Mind-set is key.

Oh, and Manny is healthy: He is eating what he wants which means he can train hard and be fine. Eating is key. It fuels the MIND and BODY to be healthy. When you are eating and training right, you are better off. Guess why Floyd doesn't like to drain himself for the weigh-in even if he would only have to lose maybe 5 pounds at the most? No drain = 100% = advantage.
Don't eat and it plays with your mind...it plays with your body's ability to withstand punishment.
Quality post. The Tyson quote in bold is great too.
