      47 isn't Pacquiao's max, I know that much.

a contracted fight agreed upon by both parties anywhere between 141-147 is a WW fight.

anyone who cant understand this is an idiot of a *****.

147 is the limit at ww..manny doesnt need to be at the limit to be champ.

so anything between 141 and 147 is a legit welterweight fight.
Doesn't change the fact that most who have faught for/ defended their title weren't restricted of coming in at the limit of w/e division they faught at. We sure as hell know that those 2 extra pounds isn't doing any WW any good.

No he doesn't but his opponents shouldn't be restricted of that either.

Cotto looked in great shape to me at 145 pounds.

Those "extra" two pounds didn't seem to have any effect on Cotto.

No, it's principle. I do not understand it because someone's rewriting the rules. The DIVISION allows for that limit but evidently roach won't allow for it. So what you have is roach demanding the fight at 145 or it ain't happenin'. Fight every other WW at max strength, but when it comes time to fight the champ cut some weight, THEN you can fight? Um...no.

I did not agree with it for Cotto's fight, I don't agree with it here. If Cotto started that stuff I would be rather disappointed in him.

Yeah Hopkins had to drop 5 pounds at 42/43 years old.

The older you get, the harder it is to lose pounds.
