Advice I'd give to any young man looking to score with a young lady, if he doesn't want her to get attached...

It's harder to get over the guy that pops your cherry than the second guy to break your heart...

They have want to see Mayweather lose more than they want to see Pac lose... Mayweather broke their heart first...

I seriously can't believe how big of a following Floyd has gained in the UK... it's like all the Hatton fans became Floyd fans... They were even chanting him a song last time he went out there

But i believe many young Brits like David Haye, Hamed, and Eubank because they are show off, arrogant entertainers.

Britain loved Ali when America was still hating him. Maybe its a cultural thing. Brits are conservative and like loud mouth entertainers. Americans are loud and prefer more humble fighters?
That's a pretty interesting take but I don't get the impression that drunk Brits are much more conservative than drunk Americans.

I don't want to take anything away from Floyd by saying this but.. I get the slight impression that it clicked in Mayweather's head that the Brit fans were over the top. If they were willing to spend the money and time to travel to Vegas for Hatton. If he could get them to love him and take him in. He could be BIG Money Mayweather in Britain. Also, but to a lesser extent he would enjoy finally having a ton of truly diehard fans.

Not at all,Mayweather was brilliant against Hatton, fought a great fight. Its Floyds behaviour that makes him look like a ****. He is a vile and thoroughly reprehensible human being,so I really dont think it matters where you are from. Everybody loves seeing a ****head getting smashed up.

And you stans are gonna have to try harder than just saying completely the opposite thing in response to any criticism of your beloved ,ahem, 'fighter' as this **** is getting old after 3 days. Do none of you dopey ****s realise how f.ucking ****** you have made yourselves look by coming straight out before Manny's sweat has dried and trying to **** on the achievements of a truly magnificent fighter?

Stop being pricks and you and your idol may start to get a wee bit of respect.

It's hard to imagine IMO a fan without a nationalistic connection to either fighter would like Mayweather more. So I'm wondering who everyone thinks the British fans would really be rooting for if this fight goes down? Poll to follow.
Rather a generalisation slag-bag. Sure, the Green Teefs will get drunk on 50 pints of lager and sing "God Save The Floyd" for a British fighter, but for any non-Brit it'll be personal preference I think. It's down to the individual.

                Interesting analysis.

So the conservative brits like the brash & loud type because they want to live vicariously through that loud brash type without the consequences.

Feck about.. u really hate Mayweather. Public persona is one thing. Hard to judge a person on it. We dont know how he is with family and friends. imho. Seems like a nice chap.

A lot of us British fans are hardcore and feel PBF hasnt been given a fair crack. Hes been great for a very long time. Pac only recently

If it's down to the individual then I think there will be a slight lean towards Pacquiao from the British fans. I get the feeling the 18-25 crowd over there loves them some flashy American..
