I seen some short clips on SRR at WW, I don't see anyone fucking with him at that weight. But he does seem very beatable at 160, Hagler, B-Hop, Roy > SRR @ 160.

look what foreman did at age of 45 and he was a boxer from the 70s.
i think a 25 years old foreman would have ruled the 90s easy, dont see lennox or holyfield beating him.

Unless you single out people, how can you say if ALL fighters from the past are overrated?

If you're asking are modern day fighters better overall then that's unanswerable really... the sport has evolved technically, so you could say fighters from the past would struggle with the Whitakers or Mayweathers of today... but you could also argue that modern day Welterweights could not last 15 rounds, with tiny gloves against Sugar Ray Robinson.
What are you even talking about?

Boxers back in the day weren't even physically fit. Their "training camps" basically consisted of them sitting around a campfire, eating their own ****, while trying to figure out how to put on a glove.

They wouldn't last 3 minutes in the ring with a modern boxer.

You're right, he'll eat his lunch because Jones made him do it! Roy would school him, even the Roy Jones of today.

yea but the heavyweights of today are the worst that have ever been, foreman would'nt have beaten lennox, no chance in my opinion

Jake LaMotta used to spar against the walls of his cave before a big fight

You'd swear the sport has evolved into fighters flying around on hoverboots.

My bad. You're 18. I should have thought of that before giving my response. As a matter of fact I should have thought of that before even responding to your thread.

then watch foreman vs ken norton.
nobody KOd foreman except ali, and he was ready to die instead of losing that night.
lennox had troubles against david tua, imagine him fighting against a bigger version of tua
