He makes hummingbird wings look like manatees. They had to slow down the camera 4,568,000 times to actually see his 1-2 combo on NOVA on PBS.

hows sugar ray leonard number 3. thats bull**** he lost to roberto duran who was a lightweight at the time. everybody killed floyd for fighting marquez who was the lightweight champion, while sugar ray lost to the lightweight champion when he was in his prime. pure politics.

Duran was not a lightweight at the time. He had actually fought several fights at welterweight prior to fighting Sugar Ray Leonard.

Everyone knows damn well that had Cochrane been around, he'd have gotten his ass whooped by Ray as well.

How do you think Money Maii got as good as he is? Money Maii is the result of millions of years of evolution, advances in the sciences of sports and physical fitness, and decades of research in the field of cryonics.
Mayweather isn't on this list because he's only fought 4 welterweights ever. None of them great.

Duran was an established welterweight at that point, not to mention he went onto capture the light middleweight and middleweight titles.

Marquez on the other hand had never fought above 135, and had only fought twice as a lightweight.

Duran gives a beating to former linear welterweight champ Carlos Palomino:

This was before he fought Leonard.

According to what I've read, the fight between Robinson and Cochrane was not made because no one at the time thought it would be a competitive match-up (as well as because Cochrane spent years in the army). Cochrane was pretty much a fluke champ who won the title on a contoversial decision from Fritzie Zivic (whom Robinson beat twice) and lost the title to Marty Servo (whom Robinson beat twice).

The newspapers recognized Robinson as the "uncrowned" welterweight king in the early/mid 1940's, until he actually won the vacant title in 1946.

I know, in the list it said "Noone knows what would have happened if Cochrane's title hadn't been frozen." as if Ray wouldn't have won it that much sooner.

As to Mayweather posts, and he hasn't done enough at Welter to merit inclusion yet anyways, but no one active in the division was considered.

More along the lines of wondering whether Robinson would have been ducked anyways.

I thought about he, as well as Curry, for the 25 spot but both had relatively short runs. Honeyghan is generally underrated.
