Too much pressure on him, The chavez name is giving him too much expectation in the ring.

Yeah, didn't seem too impressed either with Chavez Jr.'s performance, especially with his amount of wins and knockouts.

He needs to start fighting real contenders....Then again, he's just 23

if he meets Ryan Rhodes I would expect him to beat Chavez.

Chavez jr is just a hype job imho. Perhaps, they're waiting for him to have 100 fights under his belt for him to get a real challenge. I definitely was not impressed with his fight Saturday night.

Well its hard to be impressed with someone who is not an impressive fighter in any way......he is a very protected below average fighter who will be badly beaten when he steps up and fights C level class opposition.

I i'm losing interest in him.I dont see him improving at all.At least he should do is fight like a margarito and entertain. He is to slow and his defence sucks.
I'm more looking foward to saul alvarez progress.

I wasn't impressed by him, last Saturday night. I don't see him winning a world title.

People need to understand that he is Chavez Jr, not Chavez Sr and stop thinking of him as the soon of a legend. He is his own person. He hasn't been improving in my opinion. Maybe he should do a Margarito, make 147 and bully the small. I don't know!
