it's the way the "fight" was made that made it exciting for pac's fights whether its decision...i emphasize the word fight. boxing is a combat sports and warriors in the ring fights. boxing will lose to mma if fighters dance and run in the ring to avoid getting hit in pretense of defense.

I dont think it would work as effectivley with Floyd because of the nature of his shell defense. The shell defense Floyd uses neutralizes everything on 1 side of him while leaving his other side completely open. He then rolls his shoulder to shift his defense to the opposite side if the opponent comes back around.
So if Pac were to get a 90degree angle on Floyd he really wouldnt have to do much but just stay there because all the shots being fired are all from the same side.
Against Mayweather I believe Pac would be the most effective if he can get Floyd to square up with him.Comment

DLT it's very simple. None here saw any of that/ even good offense when Cotto simply took a step back and used his distance.Comment

Anyone been noticing this? He's been doing it a ton in his last few fights. Alot of times he gets almost directly on his opponents side and throws punches. I saw him do it alot against Oscar & Cotto. Like he is almost right on there left side touching them and he's firing the left down the middle, the right to the side of the head, and they cant stop it. I was thinking that Ive never seen a fighter do that before and I dont really know what to make of it. The opponent seems like they cant defend it. I also think it affects the way they fight because even when they are boxing him straight up at times, he is far to there left. People say dont stand in front of someone but he's literaly way to the side but can still fire the left down the middle and the right to the side of the head. I was wondering if that will work alot against Floyd and can he defend it.
I think the way you defend it is by constantly circling to your left so he cant really be on the side of you and even when he does manage to get close there, you fire the left hook which should be open. Anyone notice this though? Go back and watch even some of his recent highlights, e****ally in those 2 fights. Its so weird. He's so far on there side that if he just like moves a foot then they could probably both be looking at the same direction, like they could both be looking ahead. At that point they cant even seem to counter back because he's not in front of them so they will have to like turn and hit him. Its weird. Has anyone noticed that? IDK if thats awesome or something amatureish that will get him killled against a highly skilled guyComment
