mosley-pacquiao would be foty (maybe even fight of the decade) level action.

it'll be less money , not as big but it'll be a better fight.

Why don't you want Manny's opponents to come in at full strength instead of weak from cutting weight? Pacquiao is good enough that he doesn't need these extra advantages.

Neither fighter will agree to an incentive-based contract. They want their guaranteed money whether they win or lose. Mayweather may have to take 45% worst case if the PPV numbers come back really strong for this weekend's fight. Bob Arum should tell Freddie Roach to shut his mouth on the negotiations because Arum is looking out for Pacquiao's best interests, as his promoter. Arum already said he will not bother Mayweather about the 2 extra pounds so it will be at 147.

I agree with Roach that mayweather's fight buy rate is not because they want to see mayweather fight but they want to see somebody to kick his ass because of his being arrogant and proud. I don't think boxing audience was there to see a boring fight, they want action and excitement that mayweather cannot bring. They are there to see if the opponent can now kick his ass. The hatton, Gatti, De la Hoya, Baldomir, Marquez fights are all the same, people are there to see if those guys can defeat him. Hence, it is not him who is the reason of the buy rate but the opponent he fought. I believe, majority of the boxing fans now are getting pissed of Gay's claim that he is the best when the truth is he is just the best runner in the game.

Dont you get eat people? Roach in the end will say "we will fight him at 147 just pay the penalty" like in Cotto's case.

Weight issues are one of Pacman's advantage as he is in a very disadvantageous position having started at 106 though they are willing to fight up to 147 (with compensation of course) moreso now that gayweather wants to get all the money.

Gayweather will surely not honor the weight contract anyways, so why bother?

Roach is actually generous. Floyd agreed to a 144 fight. Roach is giving him 145. Floyd should be thankful even though he cheated the weight

Killa Right cried like a B?tch when Cotto got his ass whooped. He is like 0-10 on Pacquiao beating the **** out of the Mexicans.

The reason I believe this fight will get made is because there is too much money to go around for everybody involved. If Richard Shaefer is calling Bob Arum, that means Golden Boy has a financial stake in this fight as well. $55 per buy times 3 million buys is $165 mil. in PPV alone. Plus the money that HBO will guarantee for this fight. Nobody involved is gonna walk away from this payday. You may get some ego's early on saying "I'm the draw" to try to milk their percentage but this is going to break all the PPV records. It is the classic "Good guy vs Bad guy" like in wrestling, which makes it a natural promotion.
