Mayweather will come around on the split when the final numbers come in for the Cotto/Pac fight. He shouldn't and won't budge on the weight though. Cotto hurt himself to get a BIG payday he couldn't get anywhere else. Mayweather doesn't have to and won't fall into that trap that increases Pacman's chances. 147lbs and 50/50 split is a fair shake and both know it.

What is Floyd talking about? Marquez is Mexican and brings a TON of fans to his fights. Is he trying to say Cotto brings fans but Marquez doesn't? What a pile of bull**** this is. Neither guy deserves more than 50% for this fight. They're both the greatest in the sport. Neither guy is bigger or better until they fight and someone wins.

How can Roach say Mayweather doesn't have a big audience when in

I don't think Mayweather should go down to a catchweight either.
For this fight to be the real deal, Manny has to come up to 147 and do
it big. People are talking about Manny is so much better than Mayweather
but Roach still refuses to let Manny compete at 147, eventhough he is
now a WW champ? That could be taken as if Pac can't really hang.
Sure WW is between 141-147 but do the fight at 147 to make me a true
believer that Pacquiao is ready for Floyd. Roach even admitted in this
article that he needs more time to prepare Manny for Floyd because
it's a whole different ball game for Manny. I'm sure a lot of you will
over look that and still say Pac can beat May when 1) Roach wants
the fight at 145 2) Says he needs more time to prepare Manny for Floyd
and come to the ring with a whole new style. So what is that telling
you Floyd disbelievers? Roach knows what it do. PPV wise Floyd is
bigger than Manny and that is a documented fact, so why should he take
less? Because Manny is more popular? Still waiting for the Cotto/Pac
PPV numbers. To me, that will tell it all BUT even still, if it did do better
than JMM/Floyd, that will be only one PPV Pac trumped Floyd in. I bet
