Pacquiao-Cotto rising to 2 million PPV Buys

I've just received word from a very reliable source connected to the distributing cable companies of this recent "Fire-power" event featuring Manny Pacquiao vs. Miguel Cotto has reached Pay-Per-View figures that are mind-blowingly high.

It seems as though the boxing fan has continued their education as they are indeed no dummies when it comes to shelling out for fights deemed as more than Pay-Per-View worthy.

Word has it that the final tally for Pacquiao vs. Cotto has skyrocketed past it's predicted 1.2 or 1.3 million household projected and hit that vaunted 2 million mark.

    Interesting stuff. Great to see.

Chavez has some good sources but this is the type of number that I need Mark Taffet or Ross Greenburg to release. I hope the 2 million is true because the main event was such a great fight.

Ill wait for a better source.

Arum said the same from Hatton vs Pac and we all know what the true numbers were there.

I really hope that it does over 2 million. Even if it doesnt break the 2.4 million mark it will prove without a shadow of a doubt that Pacquiao is a bigger draw than Mayweather. Just like the *****s like to say the Floyd/Marquez match doing 1mil was all Floyd because Marquez couldnt even break the 400,000mark with Pacquiao. Pacquiao taking a fighter not named delahoya past the 2 mil mark when he had never done past 400,000 before was all Pacquiao and the undeniable draw in boxing.
