I told you guys Santiago didnt know what he was doing. To begin, his padwork was horrible. Teh same cadence the entire time, with Santiago throwing hooks over his body. I knew Manny would disrupt rthym and setup his combos. Cotto didnt know what was coming.

I was rewatching the fight again, after Cotto was KD'd in the 4th, Cotto was looking at Santiago for much needed guidance. All Santiago said was..."cmon, we could get through this! Stallion!"

With all honesty, this is coming from an avid Pacquiao fan. By going 3 more rounds after the brutal 9th, Cotto not only got more bruised and battered but also humiliated. Santiago could have seriously got Miguel injured and even killed. That young wannabe trainer ought to be finding another profession before he gets somebody killed. Thoughts...

The funny thing is, if Cotto's corner stopped it, he would've been criticized. He didn't want to go out on his stool. For a man that dealt with that type of bull**** criticism before, I understand why Cotto and Santiago didn't want to stop it.

If Cotto wasn't criticized the way he was after the Margarito loss, he might not have done that.
