Words from Brother Nasim on Manny

The greatest trick Manny has played on us is that he has convinced everyone that he is small. What we forget is that he made 112 back when he was 15 or 16 and was a malnourished street kid. He isn't that anymore he has grown into the body of a small welter ala Zab Judah or Miguel Cotto.

I agree with Nasim here because and this not just for Manny but all fighters. I am sorry if you weigh in at whatever weight and by fight night you have put on 10-15+ pounds that to me means you really need to be fighting at a different weight IMO. Manny did do this he has weighed in for fights at 130 and came in to the ring 142+ and at 135 came into the ring I believe at 145 or 148 not sure which.

While I not being a big Pacman fan has to give him his due. I have to admit it is hard for me to think of him as a great fighter when I see flaws that should be exposed. But something has to be said for a man with easily seen flaws but no one so far can do anything about those flaws so he has to get my respect in that aspect. The dude can fight!!!!

If the PBF fight gets made willing to bet all of my points on PBF!!!!!

he weighed in at 142 and has to consume 8,000 calories a day just to maintain that. Id say
he small....but just GREAT. Everyone has flaws, no fighter is perfect. When they try to be, we get boring fights .....

no disrespect, but if you feel Manny Pacquia isn't an all time great because of his flaws, then you must feel there are only a handful of fighters that are all time great. Even SRR had many flaws.

Manny has no problem gaining weight. That's for sure.
He eats rice every day. So do I .... that's why we're so strong

Some of these peoples are so jelous of Manny sucess that they will try to say anything to discredit what Manny has achieved. It's obivious that when Manny face a new tuff challenge his opponent is always bigger than him. You look at Barerra, Marquez, Morales, Diaz, Hatton, Dela Hoya, and Cotto. When Manny faced them for the first time he always looks smaller then them.

that is true, but he still won 4 lineal titles throughout his career. which no one has ever done before. that is more impressive to me than him starting at 106.

I don't know why TS has this obsession with ATG status = no flaws.
The lists of ATGs are full of fighters with flaws.

IMO, they are ATG because of what they have accomplished, hence Pac has been judge to be worthy of such company (achievers)

If it was a list based on skillset and perfection alone without having it proven (all based on fantasy fights), then FMJ would be ranked quite high, but then again if it was a list of based on such criteria, even any joe schmoe can make an argument that he is ATG material since its not based on accomplishments.

PS: FMJ is far from being flawless too TS, there is such a thing called being well polished, and floyd is great in that sense.
