I rooted for him badly and knew his chance of victory, despite everything, was slim, but he could have had a chance if he had a better gameplan and boxed, not brawled...
Oh well, you win some you lose some. I don't think he'll ever be the same.Comment

^^ yeah... hes downhill... he lost to the better man.. but u just cant take that kind of punishment and not expect to see the results of that later ....

The US, Roach, Naz and Steward.
and thats about all the trainers with this huge name, and to be consider elite.
Thats like comparing Phill Jackson with Larry Brown. Look at the teams Larry own made succesull and the ones Phill had with MJ and Kobe and Shaq.
We good trainer, you dont have to be a well known one to be a good one.
We just have cabrones like Santos that went eating Lechon and dinking Medallas and then 1 month before the fight he decided to lose the weight.
Irresponsible MO FO's is what we have.
I think you are looking too much into this, and theres not that much of a problemComment

that we have no trainers or great boxing coachs around here!!!!!!
all our fighters suffers from the same disease.....
Trinidad
Cotto
Juanma Lopez
Daniel Santos
ivan calderon
and the list can go on and on and on..... none of them ever had and ELITE CORNER.... all the same bunch of groupies that saw them grew up.. and that cant teach them nothing new.....
Its a shame that with all the advantage that we have here we havent been able to produce not EVEN one GOOD ELITE TRAINER...... or maybe there's one.. and is just that I DONT KNOW HIM......
joe santiagos performance last saturdays is the latest example, but we can say the same about trinidad sr, evangelista cotto, bonilla, freddie trinidad, cheche sanchez.. and all of them...
they suck!!! they are good to prepare our fighters to make it to the top here in the island... after that....
we got to do something!!!!!
most of them guys can box very well but rely on their power a little too much really and dont have the plan b, whether this be due to pressure from the fans or as you said poor trainers, the four in bold have all had problems when the other guys could take their best shots withouth being phased too muchComment

but they have one!! we have none.. .thats the main point...
u cant just blame all to the trainer.. but a fact is a fact... we dont have a top notch trainer like (nacho, ****m< roach,, etc etc)
or maybe we do have one.. but I dont think is any of those u have mention... just my oppinion man...Comment

How about swallowing ur pride and hiring Roach as the lifetime trainer?
Roach' style of offense first-defense second is perfect for the PR boxers as u guys are mostly offense type of boxers.
Now only if u can swallow ur pride and hire Roach for life.
I dont think ul swallow ur pride btw.Comment
