That's the thing....It's very hard to predict this possible fight because both fighters have ways of beating the other one....This is a fight where I won't be as confident as I was before w/ my predictions....

team pac knows they have a SMALLER chance of winning if they rely on the cards.
they must go for the jugular

relentless constant pressure.
strategize on or getting out of clinches.

pac should be prepared for that window of opportunity when mayweather tries to exchange to score points.

I think this could be his only downfall because with someone that has the workrate and flash of Pacquiao, he might seem more appealing to the judges if it goes to the cards which I'm pretty certain it will. Floyd's not at as busy as he used to be. Cotto looked good in the first few rounds using his jab. He stopped jabbing after the kd and that's when Manny dominated him. Later he tried to use the jab again and caught Manny a few times but by that time it lost it's effect. Floyd will have to be a little more active than usual and use his jab or a lead right (he's fast enough to do it). This is a pick ems fight for me. I thought Cotto would beat Manny and I was wrong. One thing I do know is that Manny will be able to take Floyd's shots so a KO is out of the question. Floyd needs a decision to win and he'll need to keep fighting at a high pace for 12 rounds to do it.

Floyd lead right hand is what will keep Manny thinking..because the lead right come sout nowhere and floyd throws it lighting fast..Hes not Miguel Cotto by any stretch of the imagination.

Cotto usedto get hit hard..knocked down get up turn into a beats and come back and win fights...Ever since Marg took his soul...hes changed..Pac hit him hard one time...Then Cotto ran the rest of the fight.

You cant throw combinations aginst Floyd....hes too smart and elusive.

Hes not there for that many punches to be landed on him..go watch Floyd fight..hes damn near impossible to hit at times...Pac throws alot of punches which means that he leaves himself iopen..JMM landed at will..When Cotto boxed...Pac look lost.

Floyds defense is what Manny never seen before..HES NEVERONCE in his career fought a defensive first guy who takes defense to the extreme like mayweather.

Imagine this, Floyd is backpedaling while Pacquiao is pursuing the whole fight...How do you think the judges see that? If Floyd throws a punch, Manny will just throw 3-4 back in return.....Judges usually award the more aggresive fighter....

Apart from Calzaghe, I have never seen another fighter throw the amount of combinations that Pac does.

I don't know if Pac has the size to keep Mayweather on the ropes whilst hitting him with the combos, does Mayweather do that shoulder roll to counter the punches whilst tucking his chin into his shoulder? Perhaps, but can he avoid all those punches, one or two will certainly get through.

Plus if Pac can floor a genuine WW like Cotto then its safe to assume he can do the same to Mayweather, but its finding his chin is the problem.

Mayweather will start slowly and perhaps pick it up, but Pac won't tire and will hunt Mayweather all night whilst taking his punches.

I'm think that Mayweather will use lateral movement, cherry pick his shots then move out.

Its a close one and at the moment I can't pick a winner.
