First off Manny never said that he wanted to test Cotto's power early on in the fight. I believe that is a misinterpretation on our part. What he said was that later on when he knew that cotto was no threat, he wanted to test his power to see if he could handle the power. And also he meant to the body. which is what he actually did against the ropes.

oh yeah, floyd can counter combinations with his left hook also--he knows how to time it as well as position himself to land it when his opponent's at their most vulnerable stance to make the punch that much more effective against them---mnny will be no different---manny's combos will be countered by left hooks and right hooks to the body, right hand counters upstairs---freddie will have nothing for floyd---nothing freddie and manny come up with will work against floyd---and as floyd methodcially breaks manny down---freddie will have to call up floyd sr for advice---
