From what I've read Zeljko was a good technical fighter who lacked the killer instinct that is so helpful to make it in the sport. He was also unique in that he was a good 6'3" and had a fairly large heavyweight frame but preferred to be very skinny. He simply felt more healthy at 180 lbs. or so. He hated keeping the weight on but his handlers felt that 210-220 would be best for him at heavyweight. When he quit fighting he immediatley returned to his vegetarian diet (he ate meat and fish as a boxer, to keep strong) and went back down to about 175 lbs.
I also remember him saying in an interview the Lennox Lewis (the two are friends) was lazy in the gym and that his lifts (at only 214 lbs) were comparable to Lewis's at 250-260.
I am from Croatia so I know.
He said he didnt have desire to continue with boxing.
He made alot of money and he started his company.
His weight is now 80 KG and he always talks about a 7 round how he thinks he could do somethin in that round.
