I think Manny's clottey adopted defense helped him absorb some of those punches on Saturday though.


Still not good though, you have to ask yourself how many of those punches you can accumulate before you get brain damage or worse...KTFO.

This is true, he is also a bruiser, just has soft skin. Pacquiao was a bruiser as well, and would always get marked up in his FW days when his opponents were good enough to compete with him.

Of all the boxers Pac has faced or may be fighting later on, i can definitely say Cotto's got the meanest punch. Even before i placed my bet i was doubting already if Pac can absorb it i was hoping/praying doesn't get hit he might not take it but he did.

That Pac's exhibition of taking Cotto's punches was really ****** too as one poster said.
