In Pac's case, every time he taunts his opponent by hitting his fists together or raising his hands, he's acknowledging that he got caught with a good shot.

The way Pacquiao was fighting late into the fight it didn't appear that he was at all afraid of getting hit by Cotto. Pretending to not be hurt and fighting as if your opponent can't really hurt you are totally different things. I'd take that as a pretty good sign that no, Cotto didn't take any of the fight out of Pacquiao.

I don't think pac was talking specifically about cotto's punches.... I think he was talking in general that getting hit hurts but you gotta work through the pain, but I can see why you interpret it the way you do....
