Cotto did hurt pac in the 3rd and jmm did too,pac does not have a good chin and if floyd has him hurt no doubt he would goes after him with roughless aggression
Why do people keep saying "oh, cotto couldn't hurt pac, so pbf.."

Floyd never tries to hurt opponents, he is concerned with winning the fight and if he can ko someone without the risk of being ko'd himself he will give it a go.
I still don't see how the usual Floyd routine will get him the W, he is throwing the double jab....single lead right to the body, one upstairs while Pac will be throwing hard combos that maybe Floyd will not be able to defend against.....Floyd will need to step up the activity to win this one, and that means risk.Comment

We may see Floyd truly tested and fans will finally see what he has in terms of intangibles......if he can come back from adversity he will gain fans because this is the quality fans want from their champions.Comment

floyd ain't doing ****.... floyd has the killer aggression of a sloth. he could've easily stopped jmm but was too scared of getting countered.Comment

can't either!"
pbf doesn't have to hurt pacquiao to win...since when has pbf had to hurt his opponents to beat them? yeah he has 25 ko's but come on pbf has never been the type to go out and TRY to hurt an opponent. this "pbf can't hurt pac" talk is relevant. all he has to do is keep pac in check, "hurting" pac ain't nessisary to win. did erik morales or jmm actually hurt pac? no but they both kept him in check and outboxed him.
It's never that simple.
Marquez did rock Pacquiao late in the 2nd round of the rematch, but Manny recovered quickly.
Mayweather is usually more aggressive (and hittable) against southpaws, but I feel he'll be more cautious against Pacquiao than he was against those other lefties.Comment

[QUOTE=Pullcounter;6674792]I'm not saying he should try it, i'm just saying he could do it because compared to cotto, floyd punches are like pillows???

your right pac's chin is proven...but accurate counters can make you think twice. jmm (who doesn't hit harder than cotto)somewhat slowed pac down.Comment

he doesn't have to engage, he'll do what he always does, box from the outside, rack up the points for a decision victory. it'll be boring, it'll be ugly, and floyd's haters will yell at him for it, but it wont' change the fact that Floyd wins via decision.
Drop the fantasy that he's going to toe to toe with Pac, he isn't. He's not that ******. Unless Pac slips up a la Ricky hatton, Floyd isn't going to go anywhere near him, except to tie him up.Comment
