I honestly hate to make another Floyd thread, but Im curious. Just recently rewatched it again, and was wondering how much people think he has improved and how they think he has improved.

Judging by your question, you think Floyd needed to improve? I thought he looked great. You have to remember that was a better Zab he fought then the guy who is fighting now. Zab won round 1, Floyd round 2, and then Zab won 3 & 4. After that he never even came close to winning another round. The only reason why he won the early rounds was because it took Floyd awhile to adjust to his Southpaw stance. After Floyd figured him out it was over. It had nothing to do with Zab fading

He's the same. No better or worse.

I think Floyd has gotten smarter since his fight with Zab, but with that he's become more cautious.
He doesn't let his hands go much anymore.
I know that Floyd was never the type to throw more than 3 or 4 at a time (except for when he fought Gatti). But in his latest fight, he looked Hopkins-like with his cautiousness.

Ive been picking Mayweather over Pac since they first started talking about it. Its just that Pac is a lot better than Ive been giving him credit for. The only thing comparable with Pac and Judah are speed. Pacs movement is a lot better, and his combinations are better. If it took him 4rds to figure out just the southpaw stance and the speed how long will it take him to figure out the awkward punches from odd angles, the output and the footwork?

I totally disagree with that. I think people make way too big of a deal about all that angle stuff. Its unorthodox and sloppy. A real boxer will eat that up and thats why JMM had so much success. I honestly beleive Floyd has a harder time with Zab because Zab was a fast Southpaw but he was also slick and fudementaly sound. That crap Pac does looks great aganist these cats who dont know how to box and have horrible D. Against Floyd its going to look amaturish. Also, I think the fact that Pac throws more punches will actually help Floyd. Floyd will be able to let his hands go even more and Pac will give him way more oppurtunites than a cautious Zab did

floyd has hit a ceiling with his skills and athleticism ever since castillo.

actually floyd was better at 130 lbs when he actually threw combinations.

Hit a ceiling with JLC? So he looked horrible against Chop, Gatti, N'Dou? He was awesome and very offensive in all of those fights

Mayweather has gotten worse not better, besides his punch output dropping steadily, he has not been active in the ring and, add to that, the fact that he doesn't have enough power in his punches to keep Manny off of him, and you realise that Mayweather is in trouble. Just look how long it took Floyd to get rid of Hatton and compare what Manny did to Hatton - CLEARLY - Mayweather has NEVER faced a fighter like Pacman, and if he wants to stay "Undefeated" he better not fight Pacman.

But IF it goes down - this much you can take to the bank ----

There is NO WAY he matches Pacmans' work rate in the ring, Mayweather is just a counter puncher, and one who will be running like a deer if - and that's a BIG "IF" he signs to fight Manny at all. Mayweather will gas himself by running for the first 8 or 9 Rounds, then Manny will catch him and it will be over shortly after that.... Pacman wins by KO Round 10
