It's entirely possible it's not as good as people make out. Otherwise, why adopt a running/pot-shotting style? The opposite is Manny. He gets tagged pretty often, but that's OK because he shows no emotional response to pain.

We were talking to Shawn Porter earlier. He said Manny is weird, he's never seen nothing like it because you can never tell what he's feeling. Is he hurt? Is he happy? Is he tired? Shawn says you simply cannot prepare for Pacquiao until you're in the ring with him.

Mayweather has been rocked by what seems like mediocre shots by Judah and Hatton. And he's scared to get hit. I expect him to run and he won't care what everyone thinks.

Mayweather needs to come in to try his pot shots. He can't run all night and expect to win the fight. He needs to try and land something. And that's all that Pacquiao needs.

Floyd is not going to run from Manny like people seem to think...Floyd is going to land and counter Manny and he will have plenty of counter opportunities because Manny throws so much and is wild with his punches...Floyds counter is going to be the difference in this fight

actually both their styles are made for each other. but pac's lack of height and reach will cancel out the effectiveness of his aggressive/quick/active style. pac would need to get in range before he could land on mayweather and mayweather won't let pac get in range for free. pac will have to go through pbf's jab or hook to get to him so pac would get countered all night and probably get knocked down a couple times too.

this fight would be an easy decision win for mayweather.

Floyd is an incredibly intelligent fighter. He knows the ring in and out, he knows how to identify and exploit weaknesses, he trains hard and prepares for everything, and he has excellent attributes.

Floyd does indeed have the style to beat Manny. Although if I were to give anyone a chance to beat Floyd it would probably be Manny.

Floyd may be troubled at times by Manny's smart, explosive and intelligent attacks coming from a southpaw, but he knows that he has the defensive skillset to sit back and relax anytime Manny tries to overwhelm him. He also is crafty, and can use elbows, and clinches to throw Manny off. He can force Manny to re adjust by tagging him with long lead rights and sharp jabs, and pick him off as he comes in. Most importantly, he has the fitness to sustain a good pace if he needs to (crucial vs Pacquiao), he has the confidence and is relaxed enough to put up with Manny's bombastic attacks and he also has the ability to slow down the pace.

Cool, fair enough. There really are a lot of people acting like it's a foregone conclusion that Floyd "schools" Pacquiao, though. I get annoyed because most of the time these guys are rubbish at predicting fights, their bets are often completely wrong, they are not able to analyze style matchups well enough and they forget or don't see small details that are actually more important than they realize.
