If Pac is so great why didn't Roach let Cotto fight at his best ? Maybe Pac would have still beat him but we will never truely know and that question will forever remain.
All this cathweight BS is what's tarnishing his legacy. Pac is a great fighter but Cotto can give him a lesson in what being an honorable warrior is all about.
Did Cotto struggle with life and death when he weighed at 146 against Clottey?

Almost everyone before the fight said Cotto was in the best shape of his career. Even he said it himself.

If Cotto didn't make an excuse for the weight, I don't see why most of us here pretend to know more than him. It's his body.

It doesn't change the fact that we are bending rules for certain fighters. If everyone else challenged the 147 pound champ at the belts rep. weight then Pac should have to.(because where does it end?)

Wouldn't you also consider it as a disadvantage to Pacquiao as he moved up in weight and challenged Cotto? If Cotto is presumably uncomfortable going down to 145, it could also be said the other way for Pacquiao. People tend to overlook that.

It was a wait and see for both fighters if they can maintain their speed and power by fighting in another weight class. Both fighters proved that they can handle that change; it was just Pacquiao was way much better handling it.

That's why I like Boxing... it requires more talent.

What a ****** ***ing comment. How the *** do you know this as you have seen neither of them train MMA let alone a MMA competition from either fighter?

I think everyone even the Pac fans wish the fight was more on even terms, because it clears up all doubts(they might not admit but I think they feel it inside). If Pac beat Cotto at 147, there are no doubts and all questions answered. Even they have to admit this "creating belts" is crap and losing your 147 belt at 145 is even worse. I think Cotto fights Hatton in a year or so and wins a tough fight.
                  pac fans feel deep inside?
Respectfully man, you need to get over it.
The game changer is that pacman caught him bad with the knockdowns ... that made him hesitant.

I'm telling you man, if you do not see a punch coming and you get hurt, it damages you equally as mentally and physically.

Put it this way ... let's say he was allowed to come in at 147 ... and everything that happend on the fight will be the same.

Do you think he would not get hurt with those unseen punches he took?
Even the trinidad's admitted ... once cotto was hurt, it was all down hill.
