you were right, but who knew pac could take a WW punch? I erred on the side of caution, but you made a bold pick. cong****.

on the flipside, pac could've won the fight a lot easier if he just boxed. the KOs would come regardless, but he took a lot of damage just to prove to cotto that he was just as strong as cotto.

Ch@mp, what do you think Miguel will do? He said he will fight on, but do you think it's a good idea?

I think he really should get in with Roach. He's not done yet, there's more left in Cotto but he needs the right kind of guidance, he can't keep training himself, he's making a mistake.

Again, I said if he can handle Shawn Porter, Cotto's punches will have no effect. While it might look like I'm blowing my own trumpet here, I'm really not wanting to do that, but it was just always obvious he would be able to take the punishment and remain upright. People underestimated Porter, they said "yeah, but Porter isn't Cotto, dumbass!" Doesn't matter. He sparred Pacquiao for many, many weeks and he could not put Manny on the canvas despite the extra incentive of Roach offering $1000 to anyone who could deck him. So, with all the chances he had, the chance of Cotto being able to do it in 36 minutes was minimal.

Manny is correct when he says if you work hard in the gym the fight is easy. There's no better way of putting it. The way to train for a hard hitter like Cotto is to utilize sparring partners who are bigger and faster than the opponent, and it worked perfectly.

Porter deserves credit. He was a huge help in this latest Pacquiao victory.

He needs a real trainer period, take 3 or 4 tunes( Not really tunes just not anyody alite at the time, while getting his skills polish and his confidence back) and then go to work against the top guys again!!

This is the list of guys that are suited to train Miguel in order

Evangelista - He is a world class trainer and he has proven that. if it wasnt for their incident he would had been his best choice. He have the knowledge and the character to train Miguel. He would had not develop him more skills, ut he definetly was getting the best of what Miguel had at the moment.

Roach - He is the best trainer in the sport. He can develop new things in Cotto like his right hand and twist his style a bit. I figure out that Cotto doesnt get tire because his stamina sucks, its the way,he fights. Moving to much and the planting his feet to throw 4 o 5 hard power punches, and reapet. Roach can also get Cottos respect and if Cotto doesnt Roach will tell him to **** off like he does to Pacquiao. He can get Cotto really focus and on his destoyer mode like a few years back.

Floyd Sr. - Even though he is a jackass and doesnt speak english, he could also help Cotto develop his right hand and improve his defense a lot. Cotto is tying that ****** defense of lowering his left hand while having his right up near his head, that needs improment and Sr. is the answer for that.

Felix Pagan Pintor - He have worked with, Duran, Pacquiao, Rosario, Camacho, Cotto himself, Gomez, Benitez and lots of other ATGs and HOfers. Dude is one o the most experienced trainers here in PR,

Romulo Duarte- JLC, JCC and MAB fomer trainer. Mentioning does 3 makes it sel explanatory.

Roach is his best option. Roach likes Cotto and respects Cotto, and it also helps that Roach is a good trainer.

Cotto needs a world class trainer. He can't afford to wait for Santiago to mature at this stage of his carreer.

Ok maybe we can have a poll here, if who would be the best trainer for Cotto.

                      What do you think guys?
