Then he kind o contdicted himself, sayin he will be open for anything when he comes back. Maybe hinting he wil indeed change his corner
Maybe he plans on keeping Joe but as an asst. trainer like he was before?

I think it was to go toe-to-toe with Pac because Santiago said Pac can't withstand a true welterweight punch. But the opposite happened.

Cotto's preparation and camp was all planned by him..he ran the **** and Santiago would oblige..He's a typical YES MAN..I'll be the one to say...Miguel Angel NEEDS Evangelista back!!
I totally agree Evangelista is a world class trainer and he have proven that.

thanks Champ for the translation.. Joe Santiago is fine but he still need more experience. Joe in a couple of fights from now will become a great trainer also. Being an assistant for Evangelista would be a great training for him.

The game plan was to control pac using the jab and to counter manny when he sliped the jab.

That should be the only option for Cotto. Roach is great. He will have a good game plan for every fight. Great sparring with Pacquiao, Khan and others. A trustworthy coach in Roach. What else does Cotto need?

Nacho or get humble and tell Evangelista to come back.
