Is the winner of Pacquiao-Mayweather immediately deemed the best fighter of this era?

I believe Pac has done enough to solidify that spot win or lose. Mayweather would actually have to start facing some Welterweights ala Mosley etc. in order for him to be greater.

Best FIGHTER of the era yes. Best resume of the era possibly no, if Floyd wins hes the best fighter, but he still wont have the best resume.

SOME people believe he needs to beat a legit WW, which makes no sense since its just a weight class and if he defeats the P4P#1 fighter Pacman who says his natural weight class is 147 (post fight interview) and who also beat the previously best natural WW (Cotto) around but he still needs to fight a WW. Why? because they are labeled a WW no other reason than that. If Floyd beats Pacman and after beats Mosley hes the best fighter and will have the best resume in my opinion.

However if Pacman beats Floyd hes best in all categories no questions asked that simple.

I do think pac deserves it more, but still...its a good arguement

No, I think Floyd has to do more, like fight a top WW. But its a step in the right direction for Floyd. He is an atg, I just think he has to do a little bit more. That Cotto win for Pacquiao really really did something. And Just because Floyd beats Manny doesn't mean he would beat Cotto or other top WW's. Got to get in the ring against your opponent to shut up the critics.

Floyd and Pacquiao fan I see, fight more then one top WW like Mosley/Berto winner. No one cares about those bs wins over Baldy(he loses all the time has like 9-11 losses and don't make a glen johnson comparison because glen was robbed alot.)
