Hey Castro, did you think that was a prime version of Cotto in there?

He looked much smaller and shot to me.

      ?

he wasnt shot, pac makes all his opponents look that way because of his offence.

Manny will have his work cut out for him with Floyd, that is for sure.

Where many are going wrong though is by comparing JMM's performance against both of them. JMM looked great against Manny, mainly because he fought his natural style as a counterpuncher at a weight that was comfortable for him.

Against Floyd JMM was forced to become the aggressor against a taller guy in a weight class not suited for him.

So Manny will get to fight as his normal aggressive self against Floyd, but Floyd is the master at keeping his opponents just out of range, especially if they are shorter. Floyd will freely lean back, roll his shoulder so it deflects everything. Floyd prefers to fight shorter guys for a reason. A taller guy can punch over that shoulder roll, a shorter guy really cannot.

Floyd can get swarmed though. Fighters that are too active will make him fall back to the ropes. He is hard to hit cleanly there, but he can get worked on and you can score more points on him there.

when manny would let him, thats when he was able to use the jab again. but the hurt accumulation slowed him down already.
I agree to an extent but there is no reason to deviate from a jab. Most fighters don't jab enough because they feel as though it has little effect and usually resort to power punching. Had cotto continue to snap Pac's head back like that for a few rounds he could have had a better chance.

The shoulder is useless against a southpaw, Floyd is completely open for a straight left. Judah proved this and even if it was only for 4 rounds, Manny is TWICE as good as Judah and it only takes more than 6 rounds to win a Mayweather fight. Manny also has more power than Judah, not saying Floyd won't be able to win the fight, I'm still not sure who would win but a left is Floyd's biggest weakness.

Oh IMO it will be a very good fight. Huge clash of styles and Floyd will get hit quite a bit due to Manny's speed. Manny will get hit a lot also.
